CREATION CARE

AT STONE RIVER

If the weather has you in the mood for Spring cleaning, think sustainably!

Here are some tips to do it using eco-friendly products. Swap conventional cleaning products that contain bleach and toxins for natural, eco-friendly cleaners. almost everything can be cleaned well with a little white vinegar mixed with water. Windows to stone or tile floors and countertops, sinks to showers.

If you’re looking for more scrubbing power, baking soda is an effective addition for hard stains, mildew, and deodorizing.

Looking for store bought or ready made products? Grove Collaborative, Seventh Generation, and Dr Bronner’s are a few places and brands that offer multipurpose and specialty cleaners with eco friendly ingredients. Beware of the front label on anything claiming to be green, sustainable or other buzzwordy titles, look at the back label and avoid vague ingredients like 'fragrance' and derived from 'natural ingredients', if the company can't tell you what they put in their products it's probably because you don't really want it in your home or body.
